About the Project

This project is part of the graduate-level course Programming and Data for Policymakers at Harvard Kennedy School. In collaboration with the City of Boston, a team of four graduate students developed a visual representation of property tax calculation aimed at educating Boston's commercial and residential property owners. The tool helps users understand how their property taxes are calculated. The students worked closely with City officials to conceptualize, prototype, iterate, and refine the tool, ensuring its final version meets the City's needs for clear and accessible property tax information.
